Unlike conventional data centers, cryptocurrency mining data centers require more power, and specialized HVAC solutions to effectively cool the air and ensure optimal operation of miners. Cryptocurrency miners tend to draw as much as 1500 watts of power per miner, requiring specialized power supply transformer stations. They also tend to generate a lot of heat, that needs to be effectively diverted in order to ensure continuous operation, not to mention safety. A poorly designed cryptocurrency farm, may cause air temperature to rise above 80 degrees Celsius – making it a very unsafe work environment and potentially cause fires.
